MineralBay is a new innovative web-based material management software system for the exchange and trade of rock excavation material designed to be broadly used throughout the entire tunneling, construction and mining industry. The system is developed for the following parties: clients, contractors, companies and quarries from the raw material industry, landfill operators, construction companies, authorities, etc.

The emerging software will provide the basis for an efficient trade with raw materials coming from underground construction sites by combining demand and offering mineral resources. MineralBay is a dynamic system, filled with data by clients and online analyzing devices on one side and industries consuming primary mineral resources on the other side in order to work with the most actual and accurate data.

The result is an interactive material management system, with the speciality of receiving, preparing and digital processing material, mass, time and tunneling related data from the online material analysis on TBMs in real time. MineralBay will additionally provide functionalities and services that cannot be found anywhere else to ensure a broad usage of the software:

• Huge product database defining requirements for economic and technical mineability and processability of mineral resources – simply fill in your obtained chemical, mineralogical or technical parameters of a material and receive the possible products and industries your material could be used for Decision support systems helping clients and customers in their decisions regarding mineral resource procurement and disposition
• On-line market for excavation material: Buy and sell your rock and soil material online
• Find depositing volume according to your deposit class automatically
• Updates on the status of the ordered material regarding amount, quality and time directly from the tunnel face in real time
• These and a lot more functions will be easily accessible online via your web browser and will finally make tunneling more cost-effective and eco-friendly by avoiding disposal sites and expensive haulage costs for example.
