Revitalization of Hydroelectric Power Plants

In collaboration with the Institute for Energy Systems and Thermodynamic

Revex2020 is a platform for operators of hydroelectric plants which supports the revitalization of hydroelectric power plants. The Revex2020 project is a collaboration between the Institute of Computer Aided Automation (Research Group Industrial Software), which is responsible for the implementation, and the Institute for Energy Systems and Thermodynamics, which provides the domain knowledge and imposes the requirements.

The application collects general data, components and state assessments of a power plant and evaluates them based on scientific calculation models. This is done both on a technical level for the repair and maintenance of power plants, and on an economic level in order to make economically optimal decisions (e.g. the optimum time for the exchange of components).

• Existing knowledge in Spring, Maven, Hibernate, JavaScript
